WHO IS BARTLE LOGIE?

bartcarAn abiding love of history and archeology developed in his childhood, together with spending more than 40 years in Eastern Cape, and a family history in the area that dates back to the mid-nineteenth century, combined to inspire retired teacher and former headmaster of Woodridge Preparatory School Bartle "Bart" Logie to begin writing about the region, back in the late nineties.

This St Francis Bay author, historian, adventurer and raconteur par exellence has recently completed his eighth book in a writing career that has spanned nearly 20 years - and he is not done yet!
